Another busy stamping week.

It's been another very busy stamping week. Last Saturday was my annual Birthday Blitz.  Then I headed to Mossyrock on Tuesday for the monthly Fuzzy Pebbles stamp club.  They are such a great group of ladies.  On Friday's papercrafting day, I made the Enjoy the Little Things project kit and finished another granddaughter's scrapbook.  Today it was another fun group of ladies for the Olympic school workshop.  I'll be posting more pictures from all of these events but I promised to share the rest of the lunch bunch first.  I also want to show the project from yesterday.

This kit was a real challenge as you can see from the photos.  It is a very cute project with a cool stand up easel clipboard and thirteen different decorated pages to place on the board.  However, the directions were so tiny that I was grateful for the lighted magnifying glass that my husband gave me your for my birthday.  Not only were the directions in four languages, but there were multiple pieces in three languages that had to be sorted before I ever got started.  The kit went together well after all of the pieces were sorted, but there were lots of tiny pieces so you need a lot of patience for this one.  I probably won't do this one in a class.

This is one of my favorite cards from the lunch bunch projects.  I can't remember who I copied it from, but I love the serenity it inspires.  The In the Meadow stamp set is such s nice addition to our stamp library. We have needed a scenery set for awhile.  The addition of the narrow corrugated paper adds some nice texture.

The Botanical Garden is one of the most popular bundles in the Occasions spring mini.  The designer paper is spectacular and goes so well with the stamps and matching framelits.  There are so many beautiful things that's can be done with this bundle.  The saying is from a great  set in the mini called Suite Sayings

This card was one of the very cute cards that my downline demonstrator,  Michelle brought for us to make.  It uses the Celebrate Today set which is great for any special occasion.

I am having so much fun with all of the great sets in three different catalogs.  This is the last month of Saleabration. There are not quite three months left for the Occasions mini and the big annual catalog so it is time to make lists of what you have to have before it is gone.  I'll have the new annual catalog when I come home from convention next month and the list of soon to be retired.  Hugs, Sherron

Fun stamping day

Tuesday was my monthly Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor downline group dinner.   My stamping friends started arriving at 10:30 AM and the last downline stampers left around 9PM so it was a very long but fun day.  Everyone got to make the same five cards and fellow demonstrator, Michelle brought two of her class projects to share.  Most of my projects were cased from other demonstrators, but I did actually design one myself.  Here are a few of the cards everyone was able to make.
This was my favorite of all the projects.  It was designed by Tami White and uses one of my favorite all time sets, Work of Art.  I have very few Easter stamps so this one combined with Teeny Tiny Wishes is perfect.
This one was my own design and uses the pretty printed vellum that is a Saleabration free gift with purchase.  I stamped one of the of the flowers from the Watch Me Grow set on the front of the vellum and then colored on the backside with Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz markers.  That way the flowers are really defined in the front but you don't have to be really careful with your coloring.  The saying and frame is from the same set.
This card was such a quick easy one to do.  I can't remember where I saw it, but I used the Balloon Builder set with the matching Balloon Punch.  You just stamp the same image multiple times without reinking.  One of the gals did it in Pool Party for her husband's birthday and it looked great, too.
This was one of Michelle's cards.  She had used it as a Valentine project and then changed it to a birthday card for her Birthday Blitz class.  She used the tree from the Sprinkles of Life set, but I wanted to use the new Happy Home set and I think it is such a happy card.

I'll have the rest of the projects to share next time.  My annual
Birthday Blitz class is this Saturday so watch for those cards to be posted soon.  Hugs, Sherron

Rose Wonder Bundle

My stamp clubs are all done for the month and I'm getting ready for the two classes at the end of the month.  Now it is time to take a few days off and enjoy some warmer days in San Francisco, I hope.

This month I've really enjoyed playing with the beautiful Rose Wonder Stamp set and framelits.  I love the way you can make beautiful stained glass images.  Embossing and coloring can create them one way or you can take the framelits and fill in the images with cardstock.  You can also color the paper and put the framelits over the top or just use the framelits.  Here are some of the cards that I cased or received from others.

Aren't they beautiful?  They are so easy to cut out with the Precision Plate and Big Shot Die Brush.  Hope you like them.  If you are one of my stamping friends, you might get one for your birthday or as a thank you.  Hugs, Sherron

Celebrating twenty years with Stampin' Up!

Today is my 20th anniversary with Stampin' Up!  My daughter, Lisa, who got me into stamping and is my upline sent me some fun flowers to celebrate.
This has been another busy week with my Stamp a Stack class on Saturday and then the Earlibird and Fuzzy Pebbles stamp clubs on Monday and Tuesday.  Here are the pics of the Stamp a Stack projects, most of which were cased from others.  Everyone got to make four of each of the five cards.  The second picture was cased from Stampin'Up! using the Saleabration Wildflower Fields Designer Paper with the Flowering Fields stamp set.  The cards are all the same design using different matching flowers and papers with Crazy for You words.  They were such fun to make.  I may have to do some little plastic boxes full of them.

Tomorrow I have another workshop with my school group.  It is going to be a birthday celebration so should be fun.  More later.  Hugs, Sherron

Another fun week of stamping and papercrafting.

I got lots of catching up done this past week with a Paper Pumpkin kit completed, another set of scrapbooking pages done and my last Tuesday Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor dinner gathering.

Friday was papercrafting day and I completed my December Paper Pumpkin kit making this very pretty calendar for 2016.  I can print out new little calendars each year and put them over the previous year.

On Sunday, while watching the NFL playoff games, I finished the last of my scrapbook pages for my 2013 collage.  After 50 years of doing an annual family event collage and then spending the last 15 years scrapbooking all of them, I am done.  After our big 50th anniversary cruise celebration, I decided that 50 years was enough.  I have three huge albums of awesome memories so now I will just continue the make smaller albums of big events and an annual one for all the little stuff.  Here is that last four pages that I completed for 2013.

And finally, I had my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor downline group dinner yesterday with five projects that I cased for my ladies plus two fun projects that Laura And Michelle brought for everyone to make.  Here are pics of all the projects we did.

It's been a busy week and more to come.  This Saturday is my annual Stamp A Stack class and then we start another month of workshops so stay tuned for more pictures of all the fun.  Hugs, Sherron.

Scrapbooking and playoffs

Well, my Seahawks didn't win, but the Broncos did so I hope they womp New England next weekend.

I spent the day completing 12 Christmas cards for next year and making four scrapbook pages of my 2012 collage. For the first 50 years of my marriage, I created an annual collage that featured all the special events in my family's lives.  Fifteen years ago I ran out of walls so I started pulling them apart and scrapbooking them.  Now I have three huge scrapbooks that are a guideline to my future memory albums.  After pulling all of my photos out of the awful magnetic albums, I now have boxes and boxes loaded with photos that I have to figure out how to scrapbook.  Here are pics of the four pages that I did.

I'm also getting ready for my end of month classes, but my workshops for the month are done so here is one of the fun projects that I did with  great free Saleabration paper and stamps.  The stamp set is called Sky Is The Limit and the designer paper is Perfectly Artistic.  Both are free with a $50 purchase until February 15th.  Here is a pic of this fun card. I can't remember where I got the idea, but I hope you like it.

I'll have the rest of my January projects ready to show you in the next several days as well as my thank you notes for my club members.  Hope you are having a great January and ready for some stamping therapy for these very rainy.  Hugs, Sherron

Lots of great workshops

It's been such a busy week with four great workshops and my monthly Stampaholics Anonymous open house.  The new Occasions mini is a huge hit and everyone is loving the free stuff in the Saleabration mini catalog.

For Stampaholics I put out some leftover birthday designer paper from last year with our new birthday stamps and we created some fun simple cards, particularly for kids.  Here is a pic of four that I made.

I have just one more workshop on Wednesday and then I can concentrate on the projects for my classes the end of the month.  Here is another of my favorites from the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch.  It was really easy and features one of the free stamp sets for Saleabration, Botanicals for You.  I used it with the beautiful Wildflower Fields Designer Paper which is also a free gift with purchase.  Then I used the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from the Occasions mini to frame the saying.  There is a set that matches the dies and is bundled for greater savings.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love the bundles?

So many new bundles and so little time.  I need more hours in the day.  Hope you get a chance to come and play with me.  Hugs, Sherron
