Still more swaps and my casing of a Dawn Olchefske card

My card for the Spring Aerubbecisor swap was cased from one that I saw on Dawn Olchefske's blog.  I changed it just a little to add the Something Lacy stamp which is one of my favorite's from the Occasions mini catalog.  In order to have enough buttons for all of my swaps and to use it for my April stamp clubs, I went through all of my buttons and let everyone choose which ever colors they liked the best.  I chose to do mine in Wisteria Wonder or Blushing Bride.

Here are two more of the fun swaps that were done by my wonderful downline demonstrators.  Michelle Stumbo of Kelso used the very fun Flower Patch card and her downline, Wendy Droke also used the same set, but their cards are totally different. This great set of 19 stamps on page 156 of the big catalog coordinates with the Flower Fair framelits on page 230 of the big catalog to make for easy cutting out of the different images.  There are three fun sayings with the set, too.  Don't you just love how they both look?

I hope you have enjoyed the wonderful artistry of my great downline group of demonstrators.  The April swap due when I return home the end of April is all about Washi Tape so it will be fun to see how the ladies interpret this theme.  Hugs, Sherron

Another Got Cards project plus a few March swaps

So yesterday was our twice a month trip to Portland for shopping and lunch.  April is a huge birthday month in our family and since we will be gone for much of the month, I had to get the last of the birthday presents bought and Easter brunch shopping done.  We always make it a day in the big city to hit Costco, Cascade Station shopping area near the airport (my favorite) and lunch at one of Tom's favorite brew pubs.  This time it was BJs.

So I promised to share the great swap cards that my wonderful Aerubbecisor group created or cased this month on a spring theme.  Here are the first three that I received.
Darlene Almer was our earlibird winner this month with her beautiful "Thinking of You" spring card from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  She used the Irresistibly Yours  specialty Saleabration paper sponged in Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky.  The Silver Foil butterfly was a spectacular addition to her card.  Darlene is a demonstrator in Longview.
Cheryl Wiggins from Sedro Woolley joined out swap for the first time.  She has been a demonstrator for more than fifteen years and I was thrilled that she decided to swap with us.  She used the same paper that Darlene used but sponged with Melon Mambo and a yellow color, probably Daffodil Delight.  She accented her card with the fun Hello You thinlits that are bundled with the Crazy About You set.
Wileen Carlton of Vancouver also used the Crazy About You stamp set for her words while adding Petite Petals for her spring look.  The Crazy About You set is a treasure trove of words for all occasions and so fun to couple with the Hello You thinlits.

My card today is from the Got Cards class last Saturday and is my take on a very cute graduation card.  I used the Celebrate Today stamp set which is perfect for all kinds of celebrations.  The inside uses the B.Y. O.P. stamp set which is perfect to couple with a gift card, money or a check.  I will be using this several times this year as I have several weddings, babies and graduations coming up in the next six months.

I have a few more days to post before we head out on our fun cruise from Tampa, Florida to Barcelona, Spain.  I am going to try and have a few things post while I am gone.  We did get a new Samsung Tablet and I'm going to see if I can post on it while I am gone also with pics of our adventures.  I have several of my stamping friends who are going to be house sitting and stamping while I am gone so if I need anything I can always check in with them.  We are very excited for this trip as it is a re-positioning cruise where the ship is moving from its winter home in the Caribbean to its summer home in the Mediterranean.  We get to stop at Key West, and then a week across the Atlantic to Madeira, Gibralter, Malaga and Barcelona, Spain.  Have a wonderful Easter weekend.  Hugs, Sherron

Another one sheet wonder card and a sympathy from Got Cards

Yesterday was a very crazy day with my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch ladies who overlapped with my Aerubbecisor downline group.  They all did the same five cards and several of the Aerubbecisor ladies brought projects to complete too.  Plus it was the due day for the monthly swap.  I didn't think we were going to get as many as we did.  People just kept coming and bringing their spring swaps.  There were so many awesome cards that I can't wait to share.  First I want to share another one of the six One Sheet Wonder cards from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.  I had so much fun creating these cards with just one beautiful sheet of paper.  I'm looking forward to trying my hand at another of these soon.  If you want to make these cards, you can sign up for my One Sheet Wonder card class on May 9th.  More about that as we get closer.

Here is another of the cards from my Got Cards class.  This one is the sympathy card and was inspired by one of my favorite Stampin' Up! demonstrators, Julie Davison.  She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and shares so much of her creativity with everyone.

I'll continue to add a few more of the Got Cards and maybe some of the swaps.  We are heading out on a cruise next week so will see how much I can add to my blog from the middle of the Atlantic.  That may be a real challenge.  Hugs, Sherron
