Another fun week of stamping and papercrafting.

I got lots of catching up done this past week with a Paper Pumpkin kit completed, another set of scrapbooking pages done and my last Tuesday Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor dinner gathering.

Friday was papercrafting day and I completed my December Paper Pumpkin kit making this very pretty calendar for 2016.  I can print out new little calendars each year and put them over the previous year.

On Sunday, while watching the NFL playoff games, I finished the last of my scrapbook pages for my 2013 collage.  After 50 years of doing an annual family event collage and then spending the last 15 years scrapbooking all of them, I am done.  After our big 50th anniversary cruise celebration, I decided that 50 years was enough.  I have three huge albums of awesome memories so now I will just continue the make smaller albums of big events and an annual one for all the little stuff.  Here is that last four pages that I completed for 2013.

And finally, I had my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor downline group dinner yesterday with five projects that I cased for my ladies plus two fun projects that Laura And Michelle brought for everyone to make.  Here are pics of all the projects we did.

It's been a busy week and more to come.  This Saturday is my annual Stamp A Stack class and then we start another month of workshops so stay tuned for more pictures of all the fun.  Hugs, Sherron.

Scrapbooking and playoffs

Well, my Seahawks didn't win, but the Broncos did so I hope they womp New England next weekend.

I spent the day completing 12 Christmas cards for next year and making four scrapbook pages of my 2012 collage. For the first 50 years of my marriage, I created an annual collage that featured all the special events in my family's lives.  Fifteen years ago I ran out of walls so I started pulling them apart and scrapbooking them.  Now I have three huge scrapbooks that are a guideline to my future memory albums.  After pulling all of my photos out of the awful magnetic albums, I now have boxes and boxes loaded with photos that I have to figure out how to scrapbook.  Here are pics of the four pages that I did.

I'm also getting ready for my end of month classes, but my workshops for the month are done so here is one of the fun projects that I did with  great free Saleabration paper and stamps.  The stamp set is called Sky Is The Limit and the designer paper is Perfectly Artistic.  Both are free with a $50 purchase until February 15th.  Here is a pic of this fun card. I can't remember where I got the idea, but I hope you like it.

I'll have the rest of my January projects ready to show you in the next several days as well as my thank you notes for my club members.  Hope you are having a great January and ready for some stamping therapy for these very rainy.  Hugs, Sherron

Lots of great workshops

It's been such a busy week with four great workshops and my monthly Stampaholics Anonymous open house.  The new Occasions mini is a huge hit and everyone is loving the free stuff in the Saleabration mini catalog.

For Stampaholics I put out some leftover birthday designer paper from last year with our new birthday stamps and we created some fun simple cards, particularly for kids.  Here is a pic of four that I made.

I have just one more workshop on Wednesday and then I can concentrate on the projects for my classes the end of the month.  Here is another of my favorites from the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch.  It was really easy and features one of the free stamp sets for Saleabration, Botanicals for You.  I used it with the beautiful Wildflower Fields Designer Paper which is also a free gift with purchase.  Then I used the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from the Occasions mini to frame the saying.  There is a set that matches the dies and is bundled for greater savings.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love the bundles?

So many new bundles and so little time.  I need more hours in the day.  Hope you get a chance to come and play with me.  Hugs, Sherron

New catalogs go live

Tomorrow, January 5 is the start of our two new catalogs.  I have had so much fun playing with a bunch of the great stamps and accessories in the Spring Occasions mini and the terrific Saleabration mini.  For my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch last week I chose four of my favorite new bundles to feature as well as one retiring stamp set that I had yet to use, but thought would be a great addition to my stash of stamps.

For my workshops this month, I picked three groups of products to feature and made several cards from each.  Most of the samples came from Pinterest which is always my go to source for ideas.  I also copied several from my favorite two Stampin' Up! creative gurus, Julie Davison and Dawn Olchefske.  Here are pics of the three groups of cards.
The first group of Cards are from the "It's My Party" suite on pages 4 through 7 in the Occasions mini.  I really love, love, love all of the products in this suite.  There are so many fabulous combinations and some surprises inside.  I'll share more pictures over the month including the inside of my workshop project.
The second group of cards is from the "Love Blossoms" Suite on pages 16 to 21 in the Occasions mini.  This one is perfect for Valentine's as well as anniversaries and weddings.  You will love the new Big Shot die brush for the intricate heart die.

The last group is from the Saleabration mini and features two products that are only avsilable free with purchase through February 15.  I really like the "Sky is the Limit" set as my husband is a pilot and has owned several planes over the years.  It goes so well with the "Perfectly Artistic" designer paper whiich is also a Saleabration free selection.  It also couples well with the "Going Places" suite on pages 38 and 39 of the Occasions mini.

Here is the first of the lunch bunch projects from last week.  I got my inspiration from the catalog on page 16. It features the Bloomin' Love bundle.  I changed the color to Blushing Bride instead of Crumb Cake and a few other small minor changes.  The ladies loved the project and were amazed at how easy the tiny pieces came out of the heart with the die brush.

I hope you've enjoyed a sneak peek at what's coming up this month.  If you aren't in one of my stamp clubs and would like to play with some of these products, join me for Stampaholics Anonymous this coming Sunday, January 10 at 1 PM.  In the meantime stay warm and safe.  Hugs, Sherron
