Birthday Blitz, swaps and more samples

Today was my twice a year Birthday Blitz class.  Even though a couple of people cancelled because of our awesome sunshiny weather, there was a good turnout and some zany people had a crazy time with the projects.  It is always so fun to listen to the conversation and the laughter.

These were the eight cards that everyone had the opportunity to make as many of each as they wanted.  I'll post close up pics with the ingredients next week.

Here is the fourth of the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch cards that I cased from Tami White.  I love the way the water looks after using aqua painters and ink refills.

There have been so many backorders because of the Longshoreman, West Coast Shipper dispute as well as some quality concerns about the Blendabilities that they are not being sold at the present time so I could not link the Blendabilities at the present time.  Stay tuned for updates as these issues are resolved.

I was able to finally catch up on my Swap of the Month group.  We were given the themes last year, but I have been so busy with classes, workshops and stamp clubs that my other stamping activities have suffered.  I finally caught up on  January and February this weekend so here is my January project.  The theme was Anniversary in silver or gold and I loved playing with the theme.

The third cased Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch card

I loved the third card that I did for my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch.  I had wanted to use the Irresistably Yours card stock from the Saleabration catalog and the very unusual White Jute Ribbon in the Occasions mini.  I think this card came from Tami White although I can't be sure as I see lots of stuff on Pinterest and then I go to do a card and I know it came from somewhere, but I can't always find it again.  It is a very simple card and one that could be used for any occasion.

I have two more projects to share and I just got all of the February swaps sorted so I will be posting those next along with the eight Birthday Blitz projects for tomorrow's class.  Hugs, Sherron

Another Simply Stampin' card

Most of the projects that I did for my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor gathering were cased or copied from other demonstrators.  I am definitely challenged when it comes to new ideas and it is so easy to copy from Pinterest now that everyone posts to it.  There are so many ways to use the Blendabilities to color lots of unusual accessories.  This one really made me laugh as we are doing so much sheetrock in our garage and I thought that all we had was yellow sheetrock tape.  After I bought a new roll of white sheetrock tape for a little over $6 at Lowe's, my husband told me he had a big roll of it up in the garage.  Now I have my own roll.  You just take the darkest color and rub the brush tip over the piece and attach it to the cardstock.  So easy as it is self adhesive.

I'll have the rest of the projects in the next several days and then there will be the eight cards for my Birthday Blitz class on Saturday and the swaps from this month's ribbon swap.  There are so many fun projects to share.  Hugs, Sherron

Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Aerubbecisor Downline Gathering

Yesterday was my busiest day of the month as I had the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch group and my downline Aerubbecisor group dinner.  As usual it was a wild day with lots of fun, food and friendship shared.  I served french onion soup to my daytime stampers and made a hearty turkey noodle soup for dinner as well as Caesar salad, sourdough bread and a chocolate pudding cake for my downline stampers.  There were eleven of my downline attending the dinner and we had such a great time.  I shared a bunch of information about the new compensation plan as well as the five projects that I had made for the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch class.  Here are some of the pics of the downline group as well as the first of the five projects that I cased for this months class.

This project was sent to me by my daughter and upline, Lisa Luchau.  It was the easiest of the five cards that I provided to my groups and was a great hit with all of my stampers.

I'll have the rest of the projects from this fun day in the next couple of days and then you will get to see the projects for my Birthday Blitz on Saturday as well as this month's Aerubbecisor swap using our wonderful ribbons.  Hugs, Sherron

Paper Pumpkin and Smart Start projects

The February Paper Pumpkin arrived yesterday and is a great bonus for stampers like me who send tons of thank yous.  I had gotten a sneak peek at it at leadership last month and was super excited.  I hope to get it made tomorrow during paper crafting when several of the ladies are making their perpetual calendars.  Here is a quick look at the kit before I start taking it apart.  I'll post pictures of the fun thank you notes once I get them made.
If you would like more info about joining the monthly Paper Pumpkin or giving it as a gift, just click on the Paper Pumpkin icon or give me a call.

I've been getting ready for the big Smart Start ELC fundraiser that I am participating in on March 7.  I will have a table with cards and baskets for sale, but there will also be a set of projects that you can complete for just $5.  Here are the projects that I will be supplying for the participants.  The basket still needs to be decorated with a fun Easter set that is coming tomorrow.

More stamp club projects

I have two more cards that I cased this month.  One was from Tami White and I'm not sure who did the other one, but they were hits with my stampers.  Love the Butterfly Basics Bundle and the Lotus Blossom is the most popular Saleabration set this season.

So those are the fun projects that most of my stamp club members made this month.  Tomorrow I am doing an opening workshop for a new demosntrator and I will share those with you.   They are pretty easy as none of these ladies have stamped before.  I am madly working on my two classes later this month and the big fund raiser that I have to have three projects for.  Stay tuned for more fun projects to share.  Hugs, Sherron

Stamp Club Projects and Weekly Deals

So somehow the "Weekly Deals" moved to the right hand side of the blog.  Do you have things just rearrange themselves when you think you know where they are?  If I ever master all of this computer nonsense, I will be a happy camper.

I promised to share the projects that I have been doing for my stamp clubs this month so here are the three projects and a variation that I had to do as one of my members attended their stamp club and another workshop, too.

This card was inspired by one that Dawn Olchefske put on her blog and Dawn Griffiths had posted several similar.  It uses the fun new Sheltering Tree stamp set and when I needed to do another for some that had already been to the workshop that I featured this at, I created a spring card to reflect the wonderful weather we have been having.  The ingredients for both cards are listed below each card.  I'll post the other cards that I have been doing tomorrow.

With all of this spring stamping, I am so happy that our weather has been spring like.  We have been setting records for warmth in the west.  So sorry for all the snow in Boston.  Couldn't happen  to nicer people.  Go Seahawks.  Hugs, Sherron

Lots of stamping events

It has been a busy three days.  Stampaholics Anonymous was so fun on Sunday with everyone catching up on their missed workshops and some stampers copying some of my swaps from leadership.  Monday was a wonderful day with the Impression Obsession Wild Women during their monthly stamp club.  Nancy did an awesome job with all kinds of Valentine decor and great salads, sandwiches and dessert.  I had so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures.  How bad was that.  Today I cleaned up and got ready for tomorrow's final stamp club of the month and continued to design or copy projects for the two classes later this month.  Talked with several of my downline and a former demonstrator who is thinking of rejoining.  Spent a little time on revisions to the compensation plan and started an info sheet on some great events that several demonstrators have shared that I think my downline could use.  Stay tuned for more pictures of this months projects after tomorrows workshop and some sneak peeks at some of my class projects.

Oh, and check out this weeks Weekly Deals by clicking on the "Weekly Deals" icon on the left hand side.  There are some great bargains.

Card Candy swap and Thanks

I mentioned that I was participating in a Card Candy swap while at Leadership.  I have never done anything like this before, but it was very fun.  At first I was concerned about being able to do a decent job in just 2 inches, but I was amazed at my swap and the ones that I got back in return.  These are perfect for putting on a card with a background paper or embossing folder and creating a simple but fun card.  What do you think?  Here is mine again.

And here are the ones that I got in exchange for the ones that I made to trade.  Aren't they so fun.  I think I may want to do this again.

I've been working to finish up my Paper Pumpkin treat bags to be used this week for my workshops and gifts to my family.  I gave away six of them at my school workshop this week and have a bunch more to give away.  I really love the January Paper Pumpkin and had such fun making these.  Now I need to make a few cards with the great stamps and Real Red ink that came with it.
I also got my February thank you notes made and added them to the orders I delivered today.  They will be in all of the orders that I deliver this month.  They were pretty simple but fun.

Leadership swap and Paper Pumpkin

Today was my monthly workshop at Olympic School.  I decided to get started on January's Paper Pumpkin kit and make a few little treats for the staff who attend the monthly workshops.  They all really appreciated the cute little Valentine treats.

Aren't they cute.  The package came with supplies for 24 different treat packs so I have 16 more to make for some other lucky stampers.

After making 50 swap cards to swap with stampers at Leadership, I still had a few odds and ends of supplies from making them and decided to finish them today.  I got some awesome swaps and will be using a bunch of them for my classes later this month, but thought you might enjoy seeing the cards that I made to swap.  Do you recognize the pretty Designer paper that I used for the background.  I won't list it in the supplies, but you will find it on the reverse side of the Saleabration cover on your Occasions mini.

There were so many fun things that I learned at Leadership and I am looking forward to sharing a bunch of them with you.  Hugs, Sherron

Last of the Aerubbecisor swaps and more Leadership pics

Today was such a nice relaxing day.  I spent some time this morning visiting with one of my direct team members and showing her all of the wonderful swaps from Leadership and telling her about all of the changes to our compensation plan.  She shared her two very cute Valentines that she is doing with her daughter's school teachers.  Then it was time to sort all of my swaps and start putting them into set sampler's to use at my workshops.  I'll post some of my favorites in the next weeks.  I picked out several to include in my Birthday Blitz on the 28th and my Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch on the 24th.  Here are the last two swaps from my January Aerubbecisor swap.
Lovely Lace Embossing Folder with Lotus Blossom Stamp set by Laura Vilhauer
Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder with Flower Shop Stamp set by Verna Almer-Tidd

This was the bag that we received at Leadership based on the Saleabration set "Best Day Ever"
We had several all attendee giveaways and this was the Birthday Bash DSP that we received
We got a sneak peek at the next two Paper Pumpkin kits which are awesome and received a past one free to share.
Flying home on Alaska Airlines we got the Russell Wilson Chief Football Officer Seahawks plane.
Everyone was dressed for the game including all of the flight attendents.
The plane had interior lighting in Seahawks colors.
When we arrived back at SeaTac, there was a photo booth with props and #3 cookies handed out.

Leadership was such a great opportunity to learn and share and I came back enthused for the next year.  There are so many great promotions coming up.  I can't wait to share them all.  If you would like to know more about being an active part of it as a member of my team, just let me know.  I would love to include you in all of the fun adventures.  Hugs, Sherron

Crazy, crazy week

To say that the last week was a really crazy time is an understatement.  How did one week go so fast?  After non-stop classes and events at Leadership last week, I flew home on Sunday just in time for a Super Bowl party (we won't talk about that outcome), though I am so proud of my Seahawks.  Then it was racing to finish the preps for my February workshops and two stamp clubs on Monday and Tuesday.  Now I hope to have a little time to catch my breath and share some of the fun of leadership.  I have so many swaps and card candy pieces to share that it may take me all month to catch up.

Monday was my Earlibird stamp club workshop and today I drove the 96 miles round trip to do the Fuzzy Pebbles.  It was a great return to reality, but fun times with some special friends.  I'll share the projects that I am doing this month after they are all done.  I have my Olympic school teachers and staff on Thursday and then two more stamp clubs next week.  Here are a few more of the Aerubbecisor swap cards for January.

I should be able to finish up the Aerubbecisor swap cards tomorrow and start putting some of the great swaps on from Leadership.  I'm not sure how to post all of the fun times that we had in the last week, but here are a few pics of my good friend and roommate, Carol Sanderson and my wonderful direct downline, Christine Ekrem.  We had such fun at Hollywood Studios at DisneyWorld for our last manager's reception and shared some great times during Leadership.  More tomorrow.  Hugs, Sherron
