The Last of the Swaps and One Sheet Wonder Class

I just haven't been able to get enthused about blogging lately.  When you keep writing and never see any comments or hear that anyone is watching, it is hard to keep up the motivation.  But I promised that I would do at least several when I had something to share so I will keep on trying.

Here are the last three projects from the Aerubbecisor ribbon swap.  With the next swap coming on Tuesday next week, I thought I had better get these posted.
Tracie Cress is my newest demonstrator.  She signed up in January and is going crazy with weekly classes.  For her first swap, she made several different designs as she doesn't have lots of any color.  Of course, I got to choose my favorite so this one is done with the Lotus Blossom set and silver ribbon.
Michelle Stumbo made a very simple card using a retired ribbon from 2013 as a nice background with the Petite Petals punch.  She proves you do not need to have lots of stuff to make some great thank you cards.
Wileen Carlton chose the Regarding Dahlias flower coupled with the Silver Satin Ribbon for an elegant, but simple card.  I love the saying because it is so true.

I have been a paper junky for my whole career with Stampin' Up! and really need to make some more projects with all of the Designer Series Paper.  We used to do a One Sheet Wonder class in a totally different way, but everyone is now doing the great one sheet wonder class with just one design to make 6 cards.  I've been tempted to do one lately and today I needed a break from normal class projects and Easter baskets.  I cut one sheet of the Painted Blooms DSP, the one that is a field of flowers with lots of white on it, into 6 pieces that are 4" x 5 1/4".  Using coordinating card stock and ribbon, I made six gorgeous cards adding a little bling on some and a butterfly on one.  It took me only about an hour to make all six cards and I loved them all.  I think I will start a class every month that will be a one sheet wonder class, maybe even twice a month using the same package of Designer Series Paper.  I'm assuming Stampin' Up! will continue giving us these awesome papers in the new catalog coming out on June 3.  I plan to choose another of these pretty papers in the next week and do another set of six to see if I find them as easy as these first ones.  Watch for a class announcement for May for a couple of One Sheet Wonder classes.  Here is a sneak peek at one of the cards that I made.

For those of you who think you don't have enough time to create your own cards or can't afford the supplies, this class will show you that neither are true.  You do and you can.  Stay tuned for more fun with paper.
Hugs, Sherron
