STAMPING WITH SHERRON: Fabulous Day

What an absolutely fabulous day today as many of us traveled north to Redmond, Washington to participate in the very first Unite Excite Stampin' Up! sharing seminar. This is the first time that Stampin' Up! decided to go with smaller more intimate gatherings of demonstrators to share ideas, friendship and excitement. The group was limited to 75 participants. There is another one in Clackamas, Oregon next week for those of the group who live closer to Portland, Oregon, but we decided to go to the Redmond one which is a suburb of Seattle because it was on a Saturday and many of my downline live that direction since I have moved twice since originally starting out north of Seattle. Jennifer Bloomquist was chosen to organize the event and she did an incredible job. There was swapping of stamped cards and 3D items, there was a round table of ideas and sharing and there were presentations on a variety of topics from how to sell kits to how to find new customers. Many of the participants were fairly new to Stampin' Up! while there were also some fairly senior demonstrators who had been with the company for more than 10 years. Everyone was so friendly and so wanting to absorb new ideas. It was a totally different atmosphere than many of our bigger events. I hope that Stampin' Up! decides to do more events of this nature and that we continue to be totally inclusive in our sharing. As I indicated yesterday, I took a batch of swaps of my Ornamental Pine card from the Holiday Sneak Peek and it was a definite hit. I received a nice variety of cards which I will be sharing in the next several week. But first I have to finish the rest of my sneak peek projects so here is number 6 in the group of nine projects. It features one of our most popular new sets, Wondrous Wreath with the matching framelits.
