Aerubbecisor swaps and Simply Stampin' cards

Yesterday was a busy, but fun day as I did a workshop with some of my favorite people.  I met the Dillon family when we were building our house eight years ago.  They came to visit while I was doing my retired stamp sale even though we weren't in our house yet, but I had decks to put tables on so decided to put a but of stuff up for sale.  We visited for a while and both Patty and Janelle became good friends.  They started having workshops with me and many in their family joined them.  Several of them have been in my stamp clubs and Arlene Smith is a regular member of my Wild Card group.  Janelle tried being a demonstrator for a while, but got a job up in Oak Harbor near her younger sister and had to give it up when she moved.  I had a workshop with Janelle and her sister in November and yesterday, it was her Aunt Pam and cousin, Jennifer's turn.  We did it at Patty's church in Kelso and had so much fun.  Here are some pics of the group.

Such a fun time.  Thanks to Pam and Jennifer for hosting us.  Can't wait to do it again with Janelle's sister, Jeanie in March.

I'm getting ready to leave tomorrow for Leadership and have been madly making downline gifts for the two ladies in my group who are going and getting some swaps ready for exchanging.  I'll have those pics to share later this week.  I loaded my swaps from this month's Aerubbecisor gathering in,but have been having some challenges with the computer not wanting to save them.  In the meantime, here is one of the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch projects from this past week.

I absolutely love this technique which is called "the night sky" or "Aurora Borealis".  It is so simple and just involves sponging different colors in arcs across the cardstock, stamping a stark image and dotting gel ink for the stars.  It is so impressive.  Hope you try it.  I'll post more as I can fit it in during Leadership so stay tuned for highlights from our annual event.  Hugs, Sherron
