Happy New Year!

It has been a very rewarding day as I puttered around the house completing lots of chores and doing a little organizing and casing.  I was going to talk about resolutions yesterday, but I got carried away bringing you up to date with my crazy month so I decided to wait until New Year's Day to talk about resolutions.  Every year, I do make a bunch of resolutions to keep me organized and do manage to complete at least half of them.  Some of them seem to appear on my list every year and I never seem to get to them.  If I really decide that I will never do them, they do eventually get deleted, but for the most part I try to follow through with my list.  This year is a continuation of last year's projects as we are really cleaning out, organizing and getting rid of lots of stuff.  We really have done well in the past two years.  We do a big garage sale in August and I have been cleaning out our huge bonus room in the garage and sorting piles of things for the garage sale.  In addition, I have been selling a lot of my leftover stamps and accessories on eBay so we are gaining ground on the stuff.  In addition, we are sheetrocking the whole garage and bonus room so my goal this year is to compete that project and have a finished place for cars and kids.

All of my extra papercrafting boxes are now in one area of the bonus room and will be completely sorted and used or gotten rid of this year.  There are a ton of historical boxes and those are on my list to organize and sort into chronological genealogy files for future family.  The one thing that never seems to get done is to re-learn my keyboard and practice regularly.  I have promised that I will do that daily as well as visit our new fitness club at least three days a week and finish a quilting project every month.  One more big project is to complete a scrapbook every month.  I have set up weekly papercrafting days at my house on any week that I am home so that I am setting aside a day to work on projects and help my friends with theirs.

I have big plans for this year.  Let's see how I do in my New Year's list.  I'll let you know what happens.

Here is another of the projects from my Sneak Peak class last Saturday.  Since all of these projects are from the two new catalogs that won't go live until next Tuesday, you'll have to wait until then for me to post the actual links to the catalogs.

 Stamps
Big Day
Paper
Ink
Accessories

This card uses the new Colorbox Chalk ink and the Blackboard cardstock. The Big Day set is one of the freebies with minimum purchase for Saleabration.  Because it is free, you have to go to the online catalog to see it.  We can't do a link, but it is a super cool set.  Just click on the catalog to the left and you can see all of the great freebies.  Hugs, Sherron
