Hubby had a nice birthday on Monday as we headed to Portland, Oregon for happy hour at Buffalo Wild Wings and some shopping. Tuesday was my long day with the Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and my downline monthly dinner. I have people dropping in all day long so it is always a fun but tiring day.
The two new catalogs have given us so many ideas for new projects for events and workshops. Here are two of the projects that I have been sharing at my stamp clubs this month. I just love the new Treat Bag Thinlit Dies. With the two pieces to make the bag, you also get two sayings and some banners as well as a few other fun pieces. Check it out in the catalog or by clicking on the link below.

Spring Flowers Embossing Folder, Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon, Sponge Daubers
This card was inspired by the sample card in the Occasions Mini on page 18. I love the technique of rubbing stamp pads over one side of the embossing folder and then running it through the Big Shot or Texture Boutique machines. I added the ink to the logo side of the folder and it adds the ink to the background rather than the embossed design. I used the sponge daubers to add Strawberry Slush ink to the outside of the flowers stamped in Daffodil Delight before stamping on the cardstock. It is such a happy springy card.
Our latest Paper Pumpkin arrived this week and is such a fun kit. Since we are getting ready for Valentine's Day, this is a perfect kit for February. It contains the ingredients for 20 fun candy packs which if you are a member of my stamp clubs, you might see next month. Here is the pic of the kit after I opened it. I'll share the finished bags when I get them made.
So many projects, so little time. Tomorrow is my weekly papercrafting day and I will be working on the Perpetual Calendar for my kit class in February. I still have lots of things to do to get ready for next week's Leadership. I finished the swaps for a Card Candy swap that I am doing, but I still need to get some regular swaps done and make a few downline gifts. Stay tuned for more projects tomorrow. Hugs, Sherron
