After fighting with the blog for several hours yesterday, I finally realized that no amount of swearing and frustration was going to make it work. Today I retook all of the pictures and loaded them on my desktop since I could not make my IPad do what I wanted it to do. So today all the pictures were on my IPad and all of them were loaded on my computer so I could take my time deciding what you were going to see today. I showed you my swap for our monthly Aerubbecisor group swap so I thought I would share the other 12 swaps over the next four days as well as one of the Holiday Sneak Peek cards with the supplies needed to make each one. That should get me through the next week or so. I have lots of other things coming up, including a Stampin' Up! get together next Saturday where will do some swapping and sharing so there will be lots more to come. Here are the three cards that were part of the swap with the stamp sets and designer paper that were the key components of the card.
Flamingo Lingo with Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper by Wileen Carlton
Sea Street Stamp Set with Maritime Designer Series Paper by Verna Almer-Tidd |
Flower Shop Stamp Set with Brights Designer Series Paper Stack by Lacey Auvigne
So Saturday was my Holiday Sneak Peek class with nine different projects from the new catalog. I had so much fun playing with many of the new stamp sets and accessories. It was hard to choose the ones that I wanted to do, so I had to quit at nine projects. There will be four months to play with the rest of them and share a lot more projects. My favorite set from the Holiday mini will not surprise any of you. I just love the "Making Spirits Brights" because as many of you know, I was a Restaurant and Hotel Manager in a previous life and got to do a little bartending. My animals are named after liquors and I love playing with frou frou drinks so this stamp set just lent itself to my punny nature. This will be my stamp set of the month for September so know you will be seeing this one a lot in the next several months. I don't do a lot for Halloween, but this one will work for the few that I do.
