Today was the second of my two annual Hostess Appreciation Luncheons. Everyone who hosts a workshop in the past Stampin' Up! year is invited to come for food, fun, four special projects and first dibs on my retired stamps and accessories. I had a nice group two weeks ago and another great group today. I always try to use one of our new stamp sets for the invitation and incorporate something I will be serving at the luncheons. This year's inspiration came from the new Cupcake Party stamp set on page 58 of our big annual catalog and a card that was posted from this past years Artisan designers. I was able to find some cupcake papers very similar to the stamps and my wonderful caterer who is the daughter of one of my stamp club members was able to make fabulous tasty cupcakes just like my invitation. Don't you think they look great?
The cupcakes were as good as they looked. They were white cake with a yummy raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. So good.
Everyone loved the projects they got to do so here is a picture of all four projects. If you want to know more about them and who I cased some of them from, stay tuned and I will feature each one over the next several days with a little more information about how I created them.
