It was a small group for Stampaholics Anonymous today.  With so many stampers here for my luncheons, I knew that there would not be lots of people coming to play today, but I enjoyed playing with Connie, Wileen and Verna and sharing some of my luncheon and convention projects.  Wileen and Verna both wanted to make the Step Block card that Dawn Griffith had posted a video of on her website and that I enjoyed trying different Designer Series  for the accent pieces.  It is a somewhat complicated design and I had to watch her video twice and then make the card twice to figure it out.  I made a diagram of the card and did my own tutorial to make sure my stampers knew how to do it. Here is the picture of the finished project that everyone made at my luncheon.

It flattens out to go into an A-6 envelope which you can make with the Envelope punch board or buy from any stationery source.
Then we had to play with the new Box punch board that I used for my original punch board box project.  I had made the smallest one at convention during the mini make and takes and ended up with a box that was just 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".  For my Hostess luncheon project, I decided that I wanted to make a box that fit two layers of four tea light candles plus a few pieces of candy on top.  I originally planned on a 4" x 4" x 1 3/4" box thinking that would fit fairly well, but when I went to make it, I goofed on the starting point and ended up with a box that was a little smaller than I planned, but a perfect size for what I needed.  It was a real learning experience on how to use the new Box Punch Board.  It is going to be a fun tool to play with.  Here is a picture of three different sizes of boxes.  One is the smallest size, one is the largest size and one is the same size as my project.  When I decorated my box, I used the new Bright and Beautiful stamp set in the Holiday Mini, Lost Lagoon and Silver ribbon and the All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments.  Inside were eight tea lights wrapped with the All is Calm Designer Washi Tape and some candy.  It was a real hit with my stampers and will be a fun thing to share when the new catalog comes out.  Here are the pics of the boxes and the finished project for the luncheon.
